Hi! I’m Leah.

I’m a full-service, freelance portrait photographer based in central Connecticut dedicated to documenting the beauty of life’s moments - big and small. From a young age I’ve always had a creative muscle that needs exercising, my photography is just one manifestation of this. Outside of my photo work, I love cooking, painting & writing.

I’d love to hear from you for any and all photo needs. From weddings to events to family portraits, I’m excited to bring your memories to life for you to enjoy with your loved ones for many years to come. Take the stress out of capturing these moments and be present with friends & family - I’ve got you covered. If you have a funky idea for a shoot, I want to hear it! Let’s make something cool together.

Experience

    • Manage and create photo/video content for company social media accounts (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn)

    • Generate fresh ideas for daily content strategy that aligns with brand goals

    • Stay informed on ever-changing social media trends

    • Combine my photo/video knowledge and interpersonal skills to bring out the best in my clients for documentary-style work

    • Maintain clients year-over-year

    • Seek out new projects to challenge myself and hone in on my craft

  • After college, I began working in a digital media planning role at MNI Targeted Media, and later at a company called Undertone. My role at these companies involved:

    • Planning for social media advertising, SEM campaigns, high-impact, and custom integrations

    • Juggling many projects each week, maintaining quality under tight deadlines and frequent changes

    • Daily problem-solving and developing team best practices as the first Client Partner in this role

Both of these roles involved managing several projects at a time that required detailed attention, all while maintaining a high standard of quality. I gained valuable project management experience during my time working in the advertising industry.

    • Hosted an hour-long radio/TV show for the 200+ patients staying at Levine Children's Hospital

    • Operated production technology (i.e. SAS Audio Console, OpX Studio Client, NewTek Tricaster)

    • Interacted and played with patients staying at the hospital
